Event Details
Southwest Job Network (SJN) and Mesa Community College are very pleased to announce the next event of SJN Southeast on the evening of October 22, 2009, in Mesa.
SJN greatly appreciates that this event is made possible through the support of and partnership with Mesa Community College.
Workshop:
SLOW Networking
Heard of speed networking? That's great when you want to meet 20 or 50 people, but you only get a few minutes with each one.
Another approach, especially for introverts, is SLOW networking - go slow to go fast.
Spend 20 - 30 minutes with someone and you'll really get an appreciation for how they can help you in your job search, and how you can help them.
Apply the techniques that you learned in Module 3 to expand your network.
Our facilitators will guide you through a step-by-step process.
You'll leave with at least 4 new, high quality, strong networking connections!
